Electronic Turbo Actuator Problems Can Be Any or All of the Following
Turbo Actuators Have Been Known for Cutting Out and Losing Power When Hot and Cold,
with the Engine Management / Glow Plug Light or Coil Light Coming on the Dashboard,
at This Point the Car Will Go into Limp Mode / Limp Home Mode.
Also, Automatic Gearbox Problem Problems.
Loss of Power Under Acceleration, Actuator Arm Not Moving at All or When Hot, No Boost, Loss of Power
This Will Start Out by Happening Sometimes and Not at Other Times
But Eventually Your Car Will Be Stuck in Limp Mode, Until the Turbo Actuator Has Been Repaired or replaced
Before Fitting Our Actuator
Please Check the Actuator Rod Which Goes into the Turbo and Makes Sure the
Turbo Vanes Are Not Sticking to Stuck
How to Check If the Turbo Vanes
with the Engine Warm or Hot Take the Cir-clip Off the Arm on the Actuator Side So the Actuator Is Now Disconnected
from the Actuator Rod Then Push and Pull the Actuator Rod Arm Very Gently, to See If It Moves Freely or Sticks
at Any Point. You Will Probably Find It Sticks and Does Not Move the Full Range or Freely, Normally the Vanes Will Stick or Go Tight at Either End, Especially When Hot.
